Sisal Collection

What is Sisal?
Sisal comes from the Agave Cactus which yields a stiff, durable, non-static fibre which is then woven into bodycare mitts or used to fill brushes. It is the perfect natural fibre for exfoliation to improve skin tone and condition. It is a sustainable resource and produced with minimal environmental impact as no chemical fertilizers are used, weeding is done by hand and manufacture is done mechanically. Sisal is also valuable forage for honey bees because of its long flowering period.

Mexican Tampico
Mexican Tampico
In our brush range we use only the best Mexican Tampico for the bristles. This type of sisal has firm, low flex, thicker fibres which improve with age. This makes it ideal for dry brushing and is often used by professionals for lymphatic drainage treatments.

Woven Sisal
Woven Sisal
This is a high quality range of cleansers and exfoliators made in Europe. The hard textured sisal is perfect for buffing away dead skin cells while boosting circulation and flushing away toxins trapped in the skin layer. The reverse side is backed with soft terry cotton for a deep cleansing massage. With regular use of any of the products in this range discover silky smooth skin and an improvement in your skin tone and general well being.

Japanese spa sisal
Japanese Spa Sisal
These beautiful brushes are made in a traditional Japanese way where the bristles are held in place by steel wire making them very fun and flexible. The high quality sisal used in this range is a good medium strength texture - harder than natural bristle, but softer than the Mexican cactus bristle we use in our professional brush range - ideal for those trying dry brushing for the first time or for those with more sensitive skin. These versatile brushes can also be used wet with product in the bath or shower. Used in spas around the world, these brushes will exfoliate away dead cells and perk up tired, dull skin, giving you a healthy luminous appearance.

Sisal and linen
Sisal & Linen
These unique beautiful mitts combine two of nature's best materials for gently buffing away dead skin cells. Use in the bath or shower with your favourite cleansing product.

Tips: our sisal products can be used wet or dry. Massage in circular movements towards the heart for best results. After use rinse thoroughly by hand, squeeze excess water out, reshape and leave to air dry naturally
